Reading and getting back to a sense of normal
Melissa Winn has sent me several free books to review. All are digital, so they are easy to deliver.
Because they are children’s books, they are quick to read. I have almost caught up with my annual challenge!

I finished quite a few books when I was poolside for a while. I also did a lot of reviews that were pending. I have scheduled most of those that haven’t been posted yet. Take this as fair warning that they are all going to pop up suddenly. I am still single digits behind, but I hope to be ahead soon, since school starts up at the end of August. It’s going to be here soon!

Well, it seems like we got there! There are actually a lot of posts that have yet to be published. They are scheduled and ready to go over the next couple of weeks.
We are well on our way to 2000 posts.
When I post from my phone, I cannot see how many posts I’ve written. When I’m on the computer, I can see the count. I saw it this week. I am just over 1470 posts. I have several scheduled for the next couple of weeks, so I know I’ll make it.
When I first started the blog, I never imagined I’d like writing so much. I thought I’d run out of topics. So far, I haven’t.
Thanks to those of you who follow and give me ideas about what to write about. Keep the ideas up! I hope to be getting back to my adventures soon.
I know that most of us can’t visit our moms, but don’t forget to contact her. Call her, Zoom with her, send a card (do this ahead of time).
I hope everyone can get out and celebrate Mother’s Day later. Better late than never, right?
I was receiving complaints about the fact that it’s hard to see the links on my posts. So, I attempted a color change. If it’s hard on the eyes, or if the links are still an issue, please let me know. If the change is good, I’d like to hear about that, too.

Angie Thomas has a new book coming out! It’s set for release in January 2021. The above link tells about the book, and what we should expect. It sounds like it is a prequel to The Hate U Give. I am excited!
It has come to my attention that some of you don’t understand that when I type “The above linked article” there is a link above whatever I typed. The website I use for publishing the blog doesn’t make it so that this is clear. On my end, it shows up in a different color than what the reader sees.
Please take advantage and take a look at the articles. Especially the videos. They are usually worth taking a look at.
